It's timely, it's inspiring, it's penetrating, it's thoughtful and it's beautifully told -- UP IN THE AIR is simply one of the best movies of the year.
Perhaps the biggest achievement writer-director Jason Reitman has done is how he manage to inject sense of humor within its depressing subject matter (it's about corporate downsizing and firing people) in such naturalistic manner.
Dialogues are especially profound, witty and very catchy while the ensemble cast are top-notch.
George Clooney delivers one of his finest performances in his career, while Vera Farminga and relatively unknown Anna Kendrick inspire with some knockout supporting performances.
A true gem.
