Alan Mak and Felix Chong's surveillance thriller OVERHEARD (2009), which starred Lau Ching-Wan, Louis Koo and Daniel Wu, was an intriguing but half-realized movie. However, the first movie made enough money in the box-office that they are granted for a sequel. OVERHEARD 2 also reunite the same three actors, except that their roles are different while the sequel is actually an entirely new story altogether.
The news about OVERHEARD 2 has been around for quite some time, with poster and some production stills appeared online. And now the first trailer has finally been released. Check out the video below.
OVERHEARD 2 hits theaters in Hong Kong on August 18, while local viewers will get to watch the movie on September 29, 2011.
