Looks like Screen Gems's highly-anticipated vampire sequel UNDERWORLD: NEW DAWN has changed into new title. The fourth installment of the popular franchise is now titled UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING, which will be hitting theaters on January 20, 2012.
UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING will sees Kate Beckinsale returns as Selene, whose character has broken out of her imprisonment to discover a new world where humans have discovered both the vampire and werewolves clans, and have involved in an all-out war to eliminate both species.
Swedish directors Mans Marlind and Bjorn Stein are helming the fourth installment from a screenplay written by Len Wiseman, John Hlavin and Allison Burnett.
UNDERWORLD: AWAKENING stars Kate Beckinsale, Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy, Michael Ealy and India Eisley.
