UK director David Yates has certainly making a worldwide recognition for himself after helming the final four HARRY POTTER movie. Now that HARRY POTTER franchise has finally come to an end last month, I'm sure a lot of people have been anticipating what Yates are going to do next. Well, according to Hitflix, David Yates and his HARRY POTTER regular screenwriter Steve Kloves are in talks to direct Stephen King's popular epic THE STAND for Warner Bros.
THE STAND, of course, was once made as a four-part miniseries directed by Mick Garris back in 1994.
Well, THE STAND was no doubt one of King's best books ever written and I'm curious what Yates has to offer to please the die-hard fans if he ever agrees to sign the deal.
