Back in May 2010, Sylvester Stallone has revealed there was a 99% chance the sequel (the fifth RAMBO movie) wasn't happening. That time the project was titled as RAMBO V: THE SAVAGE HUNT.
But more than a year later, it seems that RAMBO V is back on the radar after all! Apparently CONAN THE BARBARIAN screenwriter Sean Hood had recently turned in his draft for the sequel, now entitled RAMBO: LAST STAND, to Millennium Films. Here's what he had to say about the sequel.
"I recently finished a first draft of Rambo: Last Stand (Rambo 5) for Millennium Films, based on a story idea by Sylvester Stallone. Hopefully, Mr. Stallone will eventually have the time and the inclination to do another Rambo."
Hmm... will Stallone change his mind at the last minute and returns one last time for RAMBO: LAST STAND? It's too early to tell at this moment.
