Whoa! Disney Has Shut Down Johnny Depp's THE LONE RANGER!

Disney's highly-anticipated big screen version of THE LONE RANGER is scheduled to hit theaters next year on December, but now there is a shocking twist that the studio is forced to shut down production because the Gore Verbinski-directed western movie reportedly cost $250 million to make!

Now that begs an all-important question: How come a western movie like THE LONE RANGER could have cost $250 million to make? Even though, the filmmakers are trying to reduce the budget down to $232 million, the studio is still consider too much to spend for such a movie.

Will THE LONE RANGER suffer a bad case of development hell? Let's hope the filmmakers get their act right. I mean, it's just a western movie, for god's sake!
