Whoa, looks like actress Anne Hathaway, who is playing Selina Kyle (a.k.a. Catwoman) for the upcoming Christopher Nolan's BATMAN trilogy-finale epic THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, got so carried away during the set of a fight scene that she injured her opposing stuntman.
According to the source, Anne Hathaway has shoved the butt of her gun full-force into the stuntman's eye socket which caused half his face black and blue. Here's what an insider have to say during the time of the set.
"Anne got a bit carried away during a fight scene...He came away with a massive black eye. Anne was mortified."
Anne Hathaway felt so guilty about the injury she bought the stuntman a silver pen to apologize. The silver pen has an engraved mark that writes: "Remember no one packs a punch like Anne."
The source also added: "It was all in good humour but the poor guy took quite a pummelling."
Ouch, that must be really hurt. Let's hope that stunt mishap worth the result in the end.
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES arrives in theaters on July 20, 2012.
