What do you do when your supposedly potential comic-book movie franchise turned into box-office disappointment? Why, of course, reboot is the definitive answer.
Such case is Fox's DAREDEVIL (2003). Remember that ill-fated effort? Now with the recent X-MEN: FIRST CLASS having successfully relaunched its fading X-MEN franchise, Fox is concentrating on their next effort to reboot DAREDEVIL.
Brad Caleb Kane, a writer-producer for Fox TV show Fringe, has been hired to pen the franchise's relaunch. Not only that, he is being requested to adapt one of the most influential and acclaimed comic stories of all time: Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli's Born Again run from DAREDEVIL.
David Slade (THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE) is developing and attached to direct the new DAREDEVIL movie.
