SALT has left open a window for a possible sequel at the climactic finale of the original, which was directed by Phillip Noyce.
As of now, no word whether Phillip Noyce will return for the sequel or not especially he has his hands full with a couple of other movie projects including the submarine actioner HUNTER KILLER for Relativity Media, and the remake of the Jean-Claude Van Damme martial-art actioner BLOODSPORT.
