Arnold Schwarzenegger Is Back In Business... With LAST STAND

Lionsgate's western project LAST STAND is alive again, with the troubled Arnold Schwarzenegger finally returned for the role nearly two months after he put his acting career on hold in May.

Production is now slated to start in September on a $30 million budget, with Schwarzenegger attached to play a small-town sheriff who becomes the last line of defense when a Mexican drug cartel escapes from a courtroom and tries to get back south of the border. LAST STAND will marked as the English-language debut of acclaimed Korean filmmaker Kim Ji-Woon (I SAW THE DEVIL).

The movie is scheduled to hit theaters on 2012.
