Spike Lee Is Now Confirmed To Direct OLDBOY Remake


A week ago, Spike Lee is attached to direct the long-delayed remake of Park Chan-Wook's revenge thriller OLDBOY (2003).

Now Mandate Pictures has officially announced that Spike Lee is their top choice after all to direct the remake. Lee will direct from a script by Mark Protosevich (THOR).

Let's see whether Spike Lee is really up to the task to remake OLDBOY as good as the original version itself. After OLDBOY is widely acclaimed as one of the most influential revenge thrillers ever made in a long while.
