Guy Ritchie is currently having SHERLOCK HOLMES: A GAME OF SHADOWS in the can, awaiting its December 2011 release date. So what's next for him?
According to Twitch, Warner Bros. wants Ritchie to focus on his long-delayed project of SGT. ROCK, a big screen adaptation based on DC Comics.
Ritchie was originally attached to helm the project a few years back but subsequently handed over to Francis Lawrence, who opted to tweak the original WWII setting in favor for futuristic undertones. However, Warner Bros. and producer Joel Silver have now put Ritchie back on board as his next directing project.
