Veteran actor Choi Min-Sik was a startling revelation for his iconic role in OLDBOY (2003). With Hollywood remake currently under development and director Spike Lee is already attached to direct the movie, Mandate is now eyeing Josh Brolin as their top casting choice to fill in Choi Min-Sik's lead character.
Nothing is really official yet, although I'm personally think that Josh Brolin is up for the task if done right.
