Apparently Warner Bros. has not giving up hope yet to revive their long-delayed, live-action adaptation of the Japanese animation classic AKIRA. The project has been struggling to get into production after a number of writers and directors involved. Now Warner Bros. has found Jaume Collet-Serra (UNKNOWN) as their director to helm for the project. With Jaume Collet-Serra on board, will the live-action version of AKIRA finally materialized? Let's wait and see.
