GREEN LANTERN 2 Will Be Darker, Edgier And Action-Packed!

Let's face it. Judging by the box-office taking so far since its June 16 release, GREEN LANTERN was a massive flop in the box-office. But then again, that doesn't stop Warner Bros. from approaching a sequel in the future. Apparently, president of the studio's film group Jeffrey Robinov considers GREEN LANTERN's opening weekend is decent and figures that there is an audience out there fancy for this kind of movie.

While original director Martin Campbell won't likely return for the second time, Robinov has proposed a different take for the sequel. Here's what he had to say below.

"To go forward we need to make it a little edgier and darker with more emphasis on action.... And we have to find a way to balance the time the movie spends in space versus on Earth."

Edgier, darker and more action? Sounds like Robinov is desperate to go for THE DARK KNIGHT route.
