For years, fans have been anticipating for a DOCTOR STRANGE movie but the long-gestating project is nothing but a series of setbacks. Except that back in June 2010, Marvel had actually hired Thomas Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer to draft a script. The screenwriters duo are of course best known for drafting two of the among highly-anticipated summer movies of this year: COWBOYS & ALIENS and CONAN THE BARBARIAN.
Now it is reported that Donnelly and Oppenheimer have now submitted their script and Marvel is pushing forward with the DOCTOR STRANGE movie. Not only that, Marvel has also listed down a handful of potential directors to approach on the title and is forwarding the latest script to each to try and sign someone up to "oversee continued development".
So now, the biggest question is: Will we finally get to see DOCTOR STRANGE movie in the future? If all succeed, we might be expecting DOCTOR STRANGE to hit theaters in 2013.
