Comic-book fans have been clamoring for a DEADPOOL movie ever since Ryan Reynolds plays the role in the 2009's much-maligned X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE. And now, Deadline has reported that visual effects artist Tim Miller who previously worked on both X-MEN and X2: X-MEN UNITED has signed onto direct 20th Century Fox's DEADPOOL, which will marked his directorial debut. (Hmm... why not enlisted a more established director instead?)
Ryan Reynolds, of course, will reprised his iconic 'Merc With a Mouth' role here. With the director now attached, production is expecting to start in the near future. So stay tuned.
