Duncan Jones Is Interested For The Wolverine

With THE WOLVERINE currently in limbo, 20th Century Fox have been actively looking for replacement after director Darren Aronofsky (BLACK SWAN) departed the project due to family reasons.

And now, Duncan Jones, who recently helmed SOURCE CODE, is considering to take over directorial duties on THE WOLVERINE. Even though talks yet to take place between him and 20th Century Fox, here is what he have to say about the movie:

"Who knows what'll be coming up next - I have a lot of meetings and catching-up to do when I get back to LA. The Wolverine is more interesting to me than Batman. A good Wolverine film could be an amazing thing."

THE WOLVERINE was scheduled to shoot this summer, and whether the movie will fulfills its proposed theatrical release in 2012 remains to be seen.
