According to My Entertainment World via Movieweb, they have updated their information regarding about THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. A new plot synopsis has indicated that Dr. Hugo Strange (previously rumored months ago) is, in fact, the main villain after all.
It also further revealed that the movie will also be shooting under the alternate titles of "Magnus Rex" and "Fox Hills Green" to keep it as low profile as possible.
Here is the plot synopsis offered:
"The Dark Knight Rises (aka MAGNUS REX & FOX HILLS GREEN) - Mid June, 2011 - India & London, UK & New York, NY & Pittsburgh, PA; STORY: As Batman deals with his new status as a wanted vigilante, Dr. Hugo Strange, a villainous psychiatrist, concocts a plan to destroy him and become the new Batman. This is definitely an interesting news, and if the information turns out to be true, the inclusion of Dr. Hugo Strange is certainly a logical fit for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.
