Remember the intense scene when Tony Montana (Al Pacino) went all berserk, shouting "You wanna f**k with me? Okay. You wanna play rough? Okay. Say hello to my little friend! " before he starts shooting at his enemies? Well, that Brian De Palma's gangster classic SCARFACE (1983) is about to get a new facelift by Universal Pictures!.
According to the studio, the new SCARFACE is not going to be a remake or a sequel. Martin Bregman, who produced the 1983 version, and Marc Shmuger boarded the upcoming project as producers.
The studio is currently searching for writers to pen the screenplay which will include the gangster elements found in the original 1932 SCARFACE and the 1983 version as well.
As of now, no other details has been revealed.
