Disney/Pixar has finally released the official logo and synopsis for the upcoming prequel, MONSTERS UNIVERSITY in conjunction of Pixar's 25th anniversary.
John Goodman and Billy Crystal will reprise their roles as Sully and Mike respectively, in which they previously appeared in MONSTERS, INC. (2001).

Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monster University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sully overcame their differences and became the best of friends.
MONSTERS UNIVERSITY will hit theaters on June 21, 2013. The prequel is directed by Dan Scanlon, who has a Pixar short film “MATER AND THE GHOSTLIGHT” under his belt.
