Veteran actor Michael Gough, best known for his iconic role as Alfred Pennyworth in Tim Burton's BATMAN (1989) and BATMAN RETURNS (1992), as well as Joel Schumacher's BATMAN FOREVER (1995) and BATMAN & ROBIN (1997), passed away today on March 17th at the age of 94.
Gough was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on November 23, 1916. He has acted in more than 100 movies, in which he debuted in 1947's BLANCHE FURY. But he remains popular for his role of Alfred in the four BATMAN movies.
