With CinemaCon currently taking place in Las Vegas, Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios have recently debuted select footage from THOR for those few lucky attendees. Well, the most talked-about scene is none others than one of the movie's biggest surprise cameos: Jeremy Renner as the archer Hawkeye!
But unlike previous superhero cameos in the past Marvel-based movies, the character of Hawkeye will have more than just a mere end-of-credits walk on cameo. In THOR, Renner will star alongside S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) in a crucial scene that finds Hawkeye will be showing off his expertise, as well as exchanging a number of dialogues.
At the time being, there is no mention of Jeremy Renner's famous purple-and-blue costume in THOR. Anyway, the cameo appearance of Hawkeye in THOR meant to be kept a secret, but I guess Marvel spoils the surprise themselves to encourage more people (read: fans) into the theater.
