Earlier this week, INCEPTION co-star Joseph Gordon-Levitt is attached to play a role in Christopher Nolan's THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. Since then, the biggest question has been popping up all over fans' mind to determine what kind of role Levitt will end up as.
And now thanks to Variety, Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be playing Alberto Falcone, who is the son of Carmine Falcone (Tom Wilkinson, which has appeared in 2005's BATMAN BEGINS).
Levitt's portrayal as Alberto Falcone a.k.a. "The Holiday Killer" is certainly a crucial and logical inclusion that will ultimately bring Nolan's BATMAN trilogy into full-circle. The character is widely hailed as one of the most memorable villains in the BATMAN comic-book mythology, having appeared in Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale series' Batman: The Long Halloween and Batman: Dark Victory.
