Okay, so we all know that Arnold Schwarzenegger is currently putting his acting comeback on hold due to his recent sex scandal. On and off, we have heard rumors that one of Schwarzenegger's blockbuster hit, TRUE LIES (1994), is getting a sequel treatment. Hey, the movie's co-star Tom Arnold has kept stressing that TRUE LIES 2 is happening.
Now according to RumourFix, in which Tom had lunch with Schwarzenegger, he has once again start talking about TRUE LIES 2.
“I’m very excited about him getting back to work on True Lies 2. It’s a perfect movie for him.”
But wait... there's more! Tom also mentioned that Bill Paxton, who also co-starred in the original movie, will direct the sequel.
So, is this really confirmed? Here's what Schwarzenegger's rep had to say about the possibility of TRUE LIES 2.
“As we’ve said, all projects are on hold right now. True Lies 2 has been discussed for some time, but there is nothing happening right now. Governor is focusing on personal matters right now.”
Okay... Bill Paxton is directing TRUE LIES 2? That would be interesting.
