A lot of fans has been asking countless questions whether Two-Face will make a comeback in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES or not. Director Christopher Nolan has once said that Two-Face will not make an appearance in the third and final installment of his BATMAN trilogy.
However, during a CBS News interview with Aaron Eckhart about BATTLE: LOS ANGELES movie, the interviewer asked if Harvey Dent/Two-Face would ever appear in a scene whether it may be “in a flash back or someone’s imagination.”
All the interviewer gets is Eckhart's somewhat wicked smile in his face.
“I could not possibly say,” he later responded but never elaborate the matter further.
For the record, Eckhart has mentioned many times that he will not reprise his role as Harvey Dent/Two-Face in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.
So to be or not be? Only time will tell.
