I, ALEX CROSS Is Coming To Theaters

It's been quite some time since James Patterson's iconic character, Alex Cross (played by Morgan Freeman) made to the big screen. So far only two books have been adapted into movie features -- KISS THE GIRLS (1997) and ALONG CAME A SPIDER (2001).

And now Summit Entertainment has acquired U.S. rights to I, ALEX CROSS, with actor Tyler Perry (yes, that guy with his infamous role-in-full-drag as the cantankerous 68-year-old grandmother Mabel "Madea" Simmons) and director Rob Cohen on board.

James Patterson and Kerry Williamson wrote the first draft of the script with Marc Moss currently revising.

Production is slated for later this year but no release date has been confirmed yet.
