FAST FIVE Sequel Is A Go, Says Justin Lin

"After this big weekend, we're going forward."

That's what FAST FIVE (or FAST & FURIOUS 5: RIO HEIST for international market) director Justin Lin has announced after the movie starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and Dwayne Johnson hit franchise high with a whopping $86.2 million in the first three days at the box-office weekend.

He also added, "It's pretty much 100%. It's going to happen."

Universal has also signed FAST FIVE screenwriter Chris Morgan to write the script for the sixth installment with a tentative title called FAST SIX (although that might be changed over the course of period).

The sixth installment of the ever-evolving FAST & FURIOUS franchise is inevitable, especially with the secret open ending for those who stay back after the credits of FAST FIVE.
