Schwarzenegger and DeVito Plan To Reunite.... For TWINS Sequel?

Looks like former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has already been busy with a number of projects on his plate. Apart from lending his voice for the upcoming animated series THE GOVERNATOR, he'll be appearing in live-action features including CRY MACHO and TERMINATOR 5. Now he may be adding one more movie to his busy schedule with a possible sequel to the 1988 comedy TWINS.

Apparently Arnold Schwarzenegger, his TWINS co-star Danny DeVito and director Ivan Reitman have all been keeping in touch over the years, and it seems Universal Pictures approached them with the idea. Here's what an insider had to say about the possible sequel.

A Twins sequel. Knowing Arnold, Danny De Vito and Ivan Reitman are all still in touch and want to work together again, Universal came to them about it. It’s a germ of an idea that could spread fast.

Now the question is: Will it happen? As for now, it's just all speculations and nothing have been confirmed or finalized yet. Still a TWINS sequel sounds fine anyway, since it's also good to see Schwarzenegger getting back to his comedy genre.

Meanwhile, here's TWINS trailer to refresh some of your memory.
