After breaking a single-day collection of RM1.5 million on June 9, Syamsul Yusof's highly-anticipated local action movie KL GANGSTER has made headline again. Believe it or not, on the 4th day of show, the movie has now recorded a collection of RM6.2 million! Here's what Yusof had to say about the box-office collection so far.
"Who said our film cannot go far? The collection for the fourth day of KL Gangster has reached RM6.2 million. Thank you all! Very grateful. This success is for all local arts activist. And for all Malaysians, Bruneians and Singaporeans. I love you all!! You all are my inspiration."
He also added:
“This proves that our people crave for local work and are capable of giving 100 percent support to the industry. With full of humble feelings, I am grateful and thankful to god and all of you. Alhamdulillah."
