Jeff Lau's EAST MEETS WEST 2011 (EAGLE SHOOTING HEROES 2011) Poster Has Unveiled!

One of Jeff Lau's most popular comedies is none others than the 1993's classic THE EAGLE SHOOTING HEROES which starred Leslie Cheung, Brigitte Lin, Maggie Cheung, Tony Leung Chiu-Wai, Tony Leung Kar-Fai, Jacky Cheung, Carina Lau, Joey Wang, Veronica Yip and Kenny Bee.

In the new remake of THE EAGLE SHOOTING HEROES entitled EAST MEETS WEST 2011, the all-star ensemble comedy is now starred Eason Chan, Karen Mok, Ekin Cheng, Alex Fong Lik-Sun, Stephy Tang, William So, Kenny Bee and Tam Wai Wai. A November 2011 release date is currently planned.

Su Chao-Bin's SILK Is Getting The Hollywood Remake!

Looks like Su Chao-Bin's Taiwanese supernatural thriller SILK (2006) which starred Chang Chen, Barbie Hsu and Karena Lam, is now getting a Hollywood remake treatment by Gold Circle Films. Marko King, Mary King and Jonathan Watters -- the screenwriters trio who had previously penned Halle Berry's multiple personality disorder drama called FRANKIE & ALICE (2010), are all attached for the upcoming project. Instead of scene-by-scene remake, the Hollywood version will be leaning towards more on a "Michael Crichton meets THE SIXTH SENSE".

Part police procedural, part psychological drama and part horror fantasy, SLEEPWALKER in 3D is a typical high-concept genre movie you expect from Oxide Pang. Whether the movie lives up to its expectation remains to be seen.

REVENGE: A LOVE STORY Director Wong Ching-Po Goes Gaga With LET'S GO! Plus Poster And Trailer Debut!

Director Wong Ching-Po is quite a versatile filmmaker. He has done a couple of thrillers (2003's FU BO, 2010's REVENGE: A LOVE STORY), gangsters (2004's JIANG WU, 2005's AH SOU) and romance drama (2008's A DECADE OF LOVE).

And now he is back with something uniquely different -- a genre mishmash that's described as "quirky surrealist action drama" called LET'S GO, which starred Gary Chaw, Juno Mak, Stephy Tang, Lam Ka-Tung, Pat Ha and Jimmy Wang. According to the director, his new movie is inspired from the Japanese anime called Space Emperor God. Hmm... maybe that explains all the existence of oversized robots, over-the-top action and such. Anyway, check out the cool retro poster as well as the movie trailer below.

Oxide Pang's SLEEPWALKER Poster Is Seeing Red!

The Pang brothers and Angelica Lee made good combination when they paired up to make horror movies. The results were THE EYE (2002) and RE-CYCLE (2006). And now they reunite again, except this time, Oxide Pang is making solo directing effort with Angelica Lee instead. It's a horror movie called SLEEPWALKER, in which it will be presented in 3D. Below is the first poster for the movie.

SLEEPWALKER co-stars Charlie Young, and scheduled to open in Hong Kong on November 3, 2011.
