Samuel L. Jackson will play Stephen, a house slave and the right-hand man of a sadistic slavemaster.
Production will roll early next year in New Orleans for a December 25, 2012 release date. Apart from Samuel L. Jackson, the spaghetti western epic also stars Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz and Kevin Costner.
