Fans, rejoice! After months of speculation, STAR TREK (2009) director J.J. Abrams has officially signed, sealed and will delivered the highly-anticipated STAR TREK 2!
Returning screenwriters Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are responsible for the script. In the meantime, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and the rest of the main cast are all set to return as well. The sequel was previously set to release on June 2012, but now the studio wanted to give the writers sufficient time to finalize the script.
As of now, no production date has been set.
